The Bellwether (2014-2019) was a creative collective that worked with emerging artists to develop new work and bring it to audiences in events that are smart, intimate, and always unusual. Our central mission was to give artists a space to stretch out in a no-strings-attached kind of way, in conversation with a team of producers who function as editors, sounding boards, and collaborators.
I worked with a dream team of co-producers to run this series. We made some magical events, from a imagined post-climate-change dinner party to an immersive art installation about hip surgery. It was a very good time.
